CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS

  1. Students admitted to the Institute are subject to the discipline and control of the Institute authorities.
  2. Students should maintain complete silence and decorum in the college premises, campus, classrooms, library and corridors.
  3. It is mandatory for the students to wear ID cards inside the college campus and shall produce them as and when asked. They are also expected to carry their I-cards while outside the campus representing the Institute.
  4. Men will wear formal Shirts & trousers, formal Suits with leather shoes and women will wear formal Shirts & trousers, formal suits, and Salwar Kameez with formal footwear. Students are required to wear suits/blazers/sarees as per institutional instructions.
  5. Ragging in any form within or outside the college and hostels is completely banned. As per supreme court order, students involved in ragging activities shall be liable for punishment such as FIR with police, expulsion from the institute, debarring from university and fine Rs. 2,50,000/-.
  6. Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the classrooms and laboratories. Violating this rule will lead to disciplinary actions.
  7. The Security personnel/ designated college staff are authorized to inspect the records of the vehicles entering the campus and register the details in the gate register.
  8. All library users are required to enter their names and sign the register provided at the entrance of the library.
  9. Students must be regular and punctual in attending the classes and all other activities of the Institute. Minimum 80% attendance is mandatory to appear for university examination.
  10. The Principal shall have the power to inflict the following punishments: fine, loss of attendance, loss of term certificate, suspension, compulsory issue of T.C. and expulsion, in case of any kind of violations.
  11. The student shall strictly obey the instructions given by the college from time to time.
  12. The college authority reserves the rights to amend, repeal or modify any of the above rules.
